Wikimedia Commons

There’s been a lot of interesting trades happening this year. This is probably going to be one of the NBA’s most explosive seasons. In no particular order, Here are some of the top duo’s in the upcoming NBA basketball season, which starts on October 22nd.

#1. LeBron James and Anthony Davis – Los Angeles Lakers

let’s start if with one if the most controversial duo’s in the league right now. LeBron James and Anthony Davis. With AD down low and Bron possible pushing point. This is a force to be reckon with

#2. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George

Considering that fact that Paul George SHOULD be completely recovered from his shoulder injury. that and add khawhi Leonard to the mix, who is coming off one of his greatest seasons hands down what more can you ask for?

#3. (The splash brothers) Steph curry and Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson and Steph curry are some of the best wing shooters in the league if not the best. But you already know that right? Even though Klay is injured, as he’s out indefinitely. It’s only right they made the list.

#4. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant – Brooklyn nets

Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant a duo no one seem coming but I’m sure hope to see play together. Unfortunately Kyrie will more the likely have to ride the upcoming season alone as KD will be out the whole 2019-2020. Hopefully Durant recovers sooner then later.

#5. Russell Westbrook and James Harden – Houston Rockets

James Harden and Russell Westbrook are teammates once again. Despite having issues in the past. They are still more then enough to handle along, let along on the same team. As a fan of both. I can’t wait to see them play alongside one another.

#6. Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum – Boston Celtics

I believe Kemba Walker is a perfect fit to play alongside Jason Tatum. Jason is still a devoloping player, but still his has plenty potential to be one of the greats. Kemba average 25 ppg last season. So he most definitely can fill the void that kyrie left.

#7. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton – Milwaukee Bucks

Even though things got a liltle tough for Giannis. The Greek freak has made his mark in the NBA he’s most definitely an unstoppable freak of nature. Middleton proved has worthy which is why he was offered a $178 million dollar contract for 5 years.

#8. Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum – Portland Trail Blazers

Damian Lillard game is incredible and he is also deadly from behind the 3 point line. Cj McCollum can most definitely hold things down if needed. He just lack consisyentcy. With more defense added, they can very well cause tremendous amount of upset to other NBA teams. It’s been proven not to count them out.

#9. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray – Denver Nuggets

Nikila Jokic and Jamal Murray. What more can you ask for. The joker has and all around game and he gets buckets. Murray has a great game as well but consistency is is the key as I stated with CJ McCollum. Work on that and they’ll be fine.

#10. LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan – San Antonio Spurs

DezRozan move to the spurs was a big help. LaMarcus Aldridge still dominates down low in as far as power forwards goes. DeRozan has a decent midrange game that’s effective and Even though they still have a long way go, the playoffs will determine alot for this duo.
